We have been working with Essences since 1990 and started making the Mediterranean Essences in 2002.
Angies initial interest in Essences arose out of her interest in energy medicine and she has now been practising and teaching homeopathy and Flower Essences for some 25 years. She says: "Over the years my passion for these wonderful healing tools has only increased. Amongst other gifts, this work has given me the opportunity to organise seminars for some of the world’s leading essence makers, and to spend time exploring with and learning from them." |
In 2002 she began co-creating her own range of Mediterranean Essences consisting of Flower, Mineral, Environmental and Temple Essences from sites across the length and breadth of this diverse and historic area and this is one of the great joys of her life deepening and enriching her understanding of essences and the co-creative process.
Angie is now recognised as an expert in her field and advises other essence makers and prescribers as well as teaching all over the UK.

Adam is passionate about the creative process and about gardening, having worked as a professional gardener. He has also spent time coppicing native broadleaf woodland in Cumbria and has planted woodland, wildflower meadow and orchard areas at home. " There is nowhere I feel more in touch with the sublime than lying on the grass in my orchard, listening to the insects, when the apple blossom and the Ladies Smock are out".
Originally studying art in London, he moved to the Lake District in 1987. After setting up the CHOICE Natural Health Co-operative to support local therapists with practice rooms, Adam trained and practiced as a Craniosacral Therapist before co-founding Healthlines, with Angie in 1999, to provide Essences and support for therapists who want to integrate them into their practice.
Our passion for both the Mediterranean and for the world of Essences came together in 2002. Since then we have been making our Essences all over the Mediterranean, East to West, North to South and on the islands, scattered like jewels across the middle.
